Hold The Phone

After their critically acclaimed full album ‘Rain Walk’, (Nov ’19), Jamaican Jazz Orchestra releases the single ‘Hold The Phone’.

A fierce and edgy instrumental track in a bombastic setting. Up forward roots meets space jazz, led by a massive horn section and driven by distorted drums. This is Jamaican Jazz Orchestra like you never heard them before.

They engaged producer Tom Callens (Lady Linn, Tiny Legs Tim, Lester’s Blues, South of the Border,…) and invited Bregt ‘Puraman’ De Boever (Pura Vida, Jah9) on percussion. Recordings were done analog on tape in order to create that typical vintage sound and feel.
