Brain Freeze – First single of the EP

With their authentic formula the Belgian Jamaican Jazz Orchestra return with a brand new EP. Again serious musicianship combined with the ingenious compositions of guitarist Wouter Rosseel (Pura Vida, Lee Scratch Perry, The Congos) but this time with a more rootsy, vintage feel. Inspired by the rythmic bassline pattern of a song of the soundtrack of the movie ‘Les Triplettes De Belleville’, this first single ‘Brain Freeze’ was created. Adding a nice, jazzy hornriff, an openstring guitar melody and some Jamaican style percussion to make the groove complete. This tune also features a Ernest Ranglin-inspired guitar solo.
